The master bedroom with king-size bed on the top floor offers spectacular panoramic views of the Isle of Wight, the Needles, Hurst Castle and the boats in Keyhaven harbour and on the Solent. Open up the large picture windows at night and gaze up at millions of stars in the sky, or listen to the birds in the early morning and watch the sun rise over the Isle of Wight.
The sweet second bedroom with its original fireplace has a king-size bed that converts into two singles.
On the same floor is the generous sized bathroom which affords a good-sized bathtub and separate shower cabin and provides ‘his and hers’ basins, a toilet and storage.
On the ground floor there is a well-appointed modern kitchen-diner with adjoining snug sitting room and remote-controlled cosy modern fireplace. There is also a small clockroom with WC just off the entrance lobby.
The gated courtyard with out-door seating is beautifully sheltered and has afternoon and evening sun; a perfect place to relax with a gin and tonic on those warm summer evenings. Unless you prefer a beverage from the tap at ‘The Gun Inn’ nearby, a characterful 18th century English pub.
There is parking for one car just inside the main pillared entrance. Additional parking is available on the public car park nearby.
The house is equipped with central heating throughout and there is under-floor heating in the bathroom. The kitchen has an electric cooker and gas hob, a microwave, fridge freezer, small dishwasher and washing machine. There is a stereo with iPod connector and in the sitting room a TV and DVD player.
A travel cot, high chair and stair gate can be provided for very young children. Please let us know in advance.
Broadband WiFi is available. Please note that mobile phone reception is patchy in the house.
This property should be booked through New Forest Escapes.
